After months of rumours, Samsung has today officially announced the new Galaxy Tab 4 family of tablets, coming in 7-inch, 8inch and 10.1 inch sizes, the tablets will be named the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 respectively.

All of the tablets feature 1200 x 800 resolution displays, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot for expansion and 4G LTE connectivity.

The tablets will also be aimed towards the mid-range market, with the Galaxy Note tablets taking center stage as Samsung’s flagship models.

As of yet not pricing or regional availability has been announced, however EnGadget have said that they expect they will be available this quarter, which makes sense.

All of the models will be available in both black and white when they do eventually release.
