If you were a bit late signing up for the new iTunes Match service which was released here in the UK around a week ago, you may have noticed that when attempting to register for the service through iTunes you instead receive this message, “iTunes Match is temporarily not accepting new subscribers. Check back later.”
The service was first released outside of the US last Thursday following a week of accidental launches across Europe, Canada, Brazil and Australia, after which Apple did refund any user who may have signed up due to an accidental launch, but even after this the service is receiving, even more, problems, with users reporting problems with usernames and passwords
Due to this Apple has decided to close off the service to any new subscribers until they can fix the issue.
