Jailbreaking is something that was extremely popular when the iPhone was first released, however as Apple released more fixes to stop users from jailbreaking, the software began to fall in demand. Despite this the “evad3rs” team have just released a jailbreak tool for iOS 7, allowing the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad to be customised with various tweaks and applications.

Designed to work on both OS X and Windows, the tool is untethered, meaning that it will stay if the phone is turned off, and can apparently be done in just 5 minutes.

To use the tool, users simply have to plug their device into their computer, download the software and click the jailbreak button within it, shortly after which the software will begin to load the jailbreak onto your device, including the installation of the Cydia software which offers additional applications, extensions, themes and tweaks that Apple would not.

Users are however warned to be careful whilst jailbreaking, and to remember that you will “use evasi0n 7 at your own risk.”
