JBL has today launched the OnBeat Venue Wireless Speaker system, which they say will replace you’re home entertainment system via your iPad.

The system packs dual full-range drivers, which is monitored with Harman’s Slipstream port technology that ensures a powerful bass with a minimum distortion.

The OnBeat also comes with a ton of inputs alongside Bluetooth connectivity the system uses a 30-pin connector that can be used to dock any Apple device that still uses the connection.

As the speakers are Bluetooth compatible it can also be used with practically any device that supports it, which means you can still use new Apple devices with the Lightning connector.

With the mode, up to eight devices can be paired at the same time, alongside which Harman has included its TrueStream wireless streaming technology for the “highest-quality sound when connecting via Bluetooth”.

The system also includes various other inputs including an auxiliary jack and ports to allow for connecting to a HDMI TV.

There’s also a free downloadable app named, MusicFlow which allows the user to adjust the volume and EQ settings on the speaker, as well as customising playlists, edit mixes and browse album artwork.

The JBL OnBeat Venue Wireless Speaker System is available from today in John Lewis and Superfi for £159.99.
