John Lewis has this week launched its new JL9000 series of Smart TVs that run on webOS, despite being made by LG they will be branded as John Lewis, and will feature Full HD 1080p LES IPS displays, with 3D passive viewing technology.

The TVs will also be available in 49, 55 and 60 inch screen sizes, with prices starting at £1,399.

The TVs will also include LG’s Triple XD picture processing technology, and each of the TVs will also feature an integrated soundbar at the base of the tabletop stand, which is capable of providing 50 watts over 2.2 channels.

The TVs will also be able to access apps that includes Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Now TV, Demand5, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Skype, as well as using a Magic remote which can use point, scroll, gesture and voice commands.

The TVs will also feature an integrated 8 megapixel web camera.

The JL9000 series of TVs are available from John Lewis stores and online now. Each of the TVs will also come with a John Lewis’ free five year guarantee at no extra cost.
