John Lewis have today revealed a pretty good deal, purchase an internet enabled device and get six months free broadband, which will be offered when signing up to a 12-month contract with John Lewis broadband, after which the first six months will be free when you purchase anything from a tablet to a desktop PC, and with no activation fees it’s a pretty good deal. (Users will have to pay line rental and call charges.)
The retailer says that this offer greatly complements their reputation for extended warranties and aftersales customer service, allowing them to attract a wide range of customers, from the average student to the stay at home mom.
And with the tablet market expanded so quickly, its defiantly a good market to be in for any store that can handle it.
John Lewis broadband will be available in three packages, the Standard package from £24.50 a month on a 12 month deal, with 13.50 line rental, that package will offer up to 16MBs speeds with a capped 20GB monthly usage.
Then there’s the Unlimited broadband package for £31.50 a month you get 16MBs speeds and no capped monthly usage, or if you prefer they are also offering a Fibre broadband package from £38.50 a month, offering speeds of up to 28MBs with 100GB monthly usage cap.
