We have seen a number of cool musical gadgets on the Kickstarter platform for some time now and this week we have found another.

Called Joue?, it claims to be “the most Expressive and Modular MIDI controller”, allowing music producers to create whatever they want with the various tools

It has been created with wood and metal as materials and uses a pressure sensitive sensor to allow you to use a range of modules for sounds that include piano keys, guitar strings, drum pads, and more.

All of these modules have been designed with an elastic silicone, and thanks to this, they provide the ability to use natural gestures for vibrato, bending, and hitting controls, just as you would with a traditional instrument, but via a MIDI controller.

There’s a total of 3 slots of Joué that can be used to fit modules on the fly, you can set these up however you like and even change them on the fly.

And this all works over a USB to MIDI connector, with support for Ableton Live, Apple Logic, Native Instruments plugins, Max/MSPor a range of apps on the iPad such as GarageBand, Joue? is also MPE compliant.

Check out the source link below to find out more about Joue?, where you can also back the project if you are interested.
