Judge Lucy Koh, who first presided the Samsung vs. Apple case in the US, has now lifted the sales injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1, which was first banned from sealers on June 26th.

Samsung first filed the motion on August 26th, at which time the Judge drain she did not have the power to lift the ban at the time, obviously she does now

“The Court agrees with Samsung that the sole basis for the June 26 Preliminary Injunction was the Court’s finding that Samsung likely infringed the D’889 Patent,” which was explained in a document written by the Judge and obtained by The Verge.

“The jury has found otherwise. Thus, the sole basis for the June 26 Preliminary Injunction no longer exists.”
