We feature some pretty amazing Kickstarter Gadgets here on TechNutty, Oculus Rift is just one of those which brings virtual reality gaming to real life, with $37,000 already pledges, the project is well on its way to becoming a reality.

The Oculus Rift glasses will be available to use out-of-the-box with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android devices, the first game to be playable will be a BFG Edition of Doom, and you can even create your own playable games with Unreal Engine or Unity.

To grab a prototype RIFT kit for yourself you can pledge from $275, which will grant you a unassembeled prototype of the Oculus Rift, which you will obviously have to assemble yourself, you can also grab a developer kit with a pledge of $300 or higher, which will include a fully assembled Oculus Rift and you will get access to the developer SDK.

Check out the project on the Oculus Rift Kickstarter page, to pledge and get your own device, also check out the video below for more information about the rift.
