Have you got bored with your Xbox, Playstation or Nintendo console and want something new? Then a new startup looking to build their own budget console may be the next step for you.

The console will be called Ouya, built on a custom Android OS the console is set the launch early next year but in order for them to do that they obviously need funding which is where Kickstarter comes in, the Ouya team have set up their own Kickstarter page asking for $950,000 in order to finish product.

The great thing about the console is the fact that it won’t have all the mainstream games you can expect on other consoles and instead will allow any developer to publish their own game to the platform, alongside games there will also be various Android apps such as TwitchTV.
