When you buy a device like the Kindle Fire HD with a HD camera you probably expect a camera application to use it with right, well no as before the Fire HD didn’t actually come with a pre-installed camera app.

Bit now with the 7.2.2 update all has been restored to the tablet world with the introduction of a pre-installed camera app, allowing you to use the front-facing camera to take pictures and save them in the Photos library.

Alongside it the new update will also allow you to use Swype which is a keyboard feature found within Android smartphones and tablets that allows you to quickly type out text by drawing letters.

Kindle FreeTime Unlimited will also be included in the update, which if you don’t know is a new subscription service that allows parents to create specific profiles with videos, apps and games that their Children can play with.

The update will automatically download and install over the air, you can however start the process off manually by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping Sync, if that don’t work you can also download the update via USB.
