The Kobo Arc is getting the Android Jellly Bean update today, allowing owners to connect to a Wi-Fi network and download the new update, which includes features including face unlock, the swipe down notifications area and of course Google Now.

Also included is Project Butter which speeds up the operating system, reducing lag from touch inputs, the homescreen has also been tweaked to reduced interference, with a new Kobo UI overlay.
