The Australian manufacturer Kogan has today announced that they will be partnering with BenQ to provide UK residents with their new Kogan 4G Agora Android smartphone, which is set to be priced at £149 in the UK.

This launch comes after the smartphone launched in Australia earlier last week.

The Kogan Agora features a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5 inch HD IPS display that has a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, Adreno 305 graphics, Android KitKat 4.4.2 pre-installed, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

“This big, brilliant display features True Colour IPS LCD technology which makes everything you view beautifully vivid and razor sharp. Experience lightning fast speeds on the 4G LTE network. With download speeds up to 150Mbps, your friends will be green with envy.”

“The superior 8MP camera uses a Back-Illuminated Sensor to increase the amount of light captured and improve low-light performance, making every image beautifully clear and bright. A wide range of camera features such as Ultra Sensitivity Oversampling, Face Detection and Smile Shot assist you to achieve the perfect shot every time.”

You can find out more about the smartphone on the Kogan website, where you can also purchase the device for yourself.
