Today a new version of the Leef iBridge device was announced, called the Leef iBridge 3.

This device allows you to easily expand the storage of your iPhone or iPad device via the Lighting port, basically it’s a small flash drive like device that plugs into your device and instantly expands your storage.

The Leef iBridge 3 comes with updated features, with the option to choose one of these devices with up to 256GB of storage. It also has a new feature called LeafLock, which allows you to lock the iBridge 3 with your phone’s passcode or Touch ID credentials.

Leef explained more about it with the following:

The Leef iBridge™ 3 comes as a welcome relief for smartphone users who fear losing their prized content. A recent survey by Leef highlighted that more than 50% of Brits are most worried about losing treasured pictures and videos, while 2 in 5 couldn’t be without their phone’s address book.

LeefLock™ is one such feature. This technology allows the user to effectively lock their iBridge 3, so that it cannot be compromised should it be lost or stolen. Linking with the user’s passcode or Touch ID, it is a simple way to secure precious content.

The new Leef iBridge 3 will be available for from £39.99 for the 16GB model.
