Lenovo has today announced their successor to the Lenovo Mixx 10, now an 8 inch 16:10 tablet, it has been dubbed the lenovo Mizz 2 and features a 16:10 display with a 800 x 1280 pixel resolution.

Alongside which it also includes the new Windows 8.1 interface, which features various upgrades from the previous Windows 8 OS, including better searching and sharing, touch optimisation, the return of the start button and support for various screen sizes, allowing for tablets like the Mixx 2 to be created.

in terms of specs, the tablet also features an Intel Bat trail-T quad core processor, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and Lenovo will also be releasing a version with 128GB of storage.

The Lenovo Mixx 2 will be available later this month priced from $299 in the US.
