Amongst another other companies Lenovo has today announced a couple of new handsets during this years IFA tradeshow in Berlin, dubbed the Lenovo Vibe X2 and the Vibe Z2, both of which feature new next-generation processors.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 has an 8-core MediaTek MT6595 processor that is also 4G LTE capable, and can also provide high-speed performance withotut using too much battery life. The smartphone will also have a new Xtension option that provides a further 75% battery.

The handset also has a 5-inch Full HD display, 32GB of storage and a tri-layered design that allows the phone to have multiple colour options.

On the back there’s also a 13 megpixel camera, and on the front there’s a t megapixel front-facing camera.

Lenovo has taken the wraps of its latest smartphones in the Vibe range at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin. The Lenovo Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2 are bringing next-generation chips to the relatively young smartphone range.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 has a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with 4G LTE connectivity, a 3,000mAh battery, 32GB of storage, dual SIM card support and a 5.5 inch 1280 x 720 pixel resolution display.

On the back there’s a 13MP camera with Sony’s BSI sensor, and on the front there’s an 8MP camera.

The Vibe X2 will be priced at $400 and the Vibe Z2 will be $430, both will be released in October.
