Lenovo unveiled its competitor to the Microsoft Surface today, called the Lenovo MIIX 700 it is a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet hybrid that runs on Windows 10.
Around the back you will also find a kickstand that uses a special hinge that allows it to be pulled out in a range of positions, this can be combined with a magnetic keyboard that looks similar to the Surface’s Type Cover and works pretty much the same way too, allowing uses to use a keyboard with the hybrid.
One thing that is different is the specs and its budget friendly price tag, which is set at $699 for the base model.
In terms of specs you will get an Intel Core M7 processor with up to 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and a 12-inch display that has a 2,160 x 1,440 pixel resolution.
There’s also a 5 megapixel camera on both the front and the back of the hybrid, with the ability to connect an Intel RealSense Camera.
The Lenovo MIIX 700 will be available from November.
