Lenovo has today unveiled a brand new range of rugged laptops that have been aimed at students, and have been dubbed the Lenovo ThinPad 11e range. Consisting of four different models that offer various specifications and hardware, prices for the range starts at $349.

However despite their differences, the entire range will be launching this spring and will feature rubberized bumpers, reinforced ports and stronger hinges, giving the laptops their rugged name.

The 11e range will also feature Intel processors as well as top cover LEDs that indicate the laptops wireless activity, power and a sleep mode indication.

The series will include the ThinkPad Yoga 11e, ThinkPad 11e, ThinkPad Yoga 11e Chromebook and the ThinkPad 11e Chromebook.

The first of the laptops will also include Intel’s Education Software that will allow students to acquire skills through rich and interactive applications, and all of the laptops will be completely configurable to the schools needs, such as asset tagging, BIOS modifications, laser engraving and custom imaging, they will also be available in Graphite Black or Silver.

The ThinkPad 11e and the ThinkPad Yoga 11e will start at $449 and the ThinkPad Yoga 11e Chromebook and ThinkPad 11e Chromebook models will start at $349.
