Lenovo has unveiled some new laptop-tablet thingies that can flip, twist and turn in a range of variations allowing you to get hands on with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system.

The new tablets were announced in New York yesterday and will launch alongside Windows 8 on October 26th, the new tablets include four various devices that have been designed for the RT and 8 operating systems.

The first tablet is the IdeaPad Yoga 13 which as you can probably guess includes a 13.3 inch HD IPS touchscreen display, which has been attached via a hinge that allows it to fold 360 degrees, turning it from a laptop to a tablet quickly and easily.

The Yoga 13 also includes intel’s 3rd gen Core processor,  measuring in at 16.9mm thick with a battery life of eight hours.

Alongside the Yoga 13, Lenovo will also be launching a second 11.6 inch device, the Yoga 11 is the world’s slimmest multi-mode PC according to Lenovo at just 15.6mm think, alongside it there’s NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 graphics card, a quad-core processor and the Windows RT os.

Alongside all of that there’s also a 13 hour battery life.

The Lenovo Yoga 13 will launch in the US in October for $1,099, whereas the Yoga 11 will be a little cheaper at $799 launching in December.

Announced shortly after was the IdeaTab Lynx which is a new 11.6 inch tablet which offers 16 hours of battery life, Dolby Home Theatre Sound, Intel’s Atom Processor and Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system.

The Lynx will also provide 16 hours of battery life if bought with the base,  but will not include a built-in keyboard so you will have to buy one of those as an extra.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Lynx will launch in the US in December alongside the optional keyboard from $599 and $149 for the keyboard.

Finally there’s the ThinkPad Twist which packs a 12.5 inch HD IPS display, with Dolby’s Home Thertre Sound, a 3rd Gen Intel i7 processor, Windows 8 and a choice between a 500GB hard drive or a 128GB SSD.

There’s also the option to add 3G capabilities, but that’s about all we know at the current time.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Twist will launch on October 26th in the US for $849.
