Today Lenovo has shown off their first product of CES 2017, unveiling a new Alexa-powered Smart Assistant speaker ahead of all the madness from the show.

Lenovo is taking CES by storm, as usual.

The device looks similar to the Amazon Echo and in many ways it is.

It will work just like an Echo, allowing you to conduct web searches, play music, create lists, set up reminders, and more thanks to its integration with the Amazon Alexa cloud service, and it even has a device that looks very similar to the Echo device.

But it does have some distinctive features.

One of the biggest is that it will be available in a Harman Kardon edition, which will provide you with a set of Harman Kardon speakers inside for a much better audio experience.

It will also come with support for controlling smart home devices, including Lenovo’s own set of home devices via you voice thanks to the eight 360-degree far-field microphones that Lenovo has built inside.

The home-based personal assistant will be available in both the normal and the Harman Kardon version from May 2017 in grey, green, or orange. The normal Lenovo Smart Assistant will be priced at $129.99 and the Harman Kardon Edition will be priced at $179.99.
