Lenovo have today unveiled their latest Ultrabook to hit the market, the ThinkPad T431 which comes with a new thinner design, at only 0.82 inches think, Lenovo say it is the thinnest machine ever to be included in their T series line of products.

It will also include a 14 inch matte display with a pixel resolution of 1,600 x 900, a 720p webcam, 4GB of RAM (this can be upgraded to 12GB), the choose between a 1TB harddrive or a 256GB SSD, an optical backlit keyboard, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 9 hour battery life.

All this and the Ultrabook still weighs just 3.6 pounds, users can choose to run on Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Alongside the specs, Lenovo also say that they have been working on the design of the T431, mentioning that they spent 9 months just researching how people use laptops, adding a total of 26 design changes.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T431 will be available in the US for $949 from April this year, there’s no news on when it might be hitting the UK yet or even for how much.
