Yesterday Lenovo sent out a tweet on the Motorola Canada Twitter account teasing an announcement for their “next bold phone”.

In the tweet, we can see a GIF of a woman, which doesn’t really provide any hints, however, because it was on the Motorola Canada Twitter and we have heard many rumours about it recently, it is possible that this might be the Moto Z2 Play.

Motorola originally introduced the original version of the smartphone last August. Called the Moto Z Play, it was a mid-range version of the Moto Z with a modular smartphone design.

According to rumours, the Z2 Play will also come with support for Lovo’s Moto Mods, alongside a 5.5-inch FHD display that has a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution, as well as a Snapdragon 626 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a microSD card slot.

Rumours have also suggested that the device will feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that has a dual-LED flash and can record at 4K, as well as a 3,000 mAh battery.

Finally, rumours suggest that it will come with three different finishes, including black, silver, and gold.
