Just a few hours ago we seen a curved all-in-one pc announcement from Samsung, and now we have another curved technology announced but instead this time it’s for a monitor.

Announced by LG, the new curved monitor has been designed specifically for gamers and unveiled just a short time ahead of next CES trade show.

In terms of specs far we know that the 34-inch Ultrawide desktop monitor will feature a 21:9 aspect ratio for a wider field of view, unrivalled color accuracy thanks to the UltraWide IPS panel, the ability to output 99% of the sRGB colour gamut, a 178 degree viewing angle and support for AMD’s FreeSync, which is a technology that is said to eliminate screen tearing.

LG also says that the monitor would be a good choice for stock traders who need to track multiple markets, workers who need the space for a number of documents and spreadsheets at the office, or anyone who fancies a huge curved monitor.

If the new monitor is not big enough for you however there’s one more thing, you can also combine four of them.

As of yet no pricing or release date information has been announced, however we should find out more at CES 2015 next week.
