Every other smartphone manufacture these days are creating new speech recognition software the first of which was Apple with its Siri application and then Samsung came along with S Voice and now LG with there new application named Quick Voice, which is its own voice-controlled assistant which will make its debut in Korea later this month with the release of the Optimus Vu.

Upon its launch Quick Voice will be compatible with 11 different applications including the phone, email, address book, alarm clock, and calendar applications, allowing its users to perform searches on various things like the weather, maps, and websites, but its unclear weather Quick Voice will support location based searching to find nearby businesses. After its debut on the Optimus Vu LG will the launch on the Optimus LTE 2 in July.
