LG still hasn’t officially announced the G5 yet, despite confirming its existence and today announcing the release of the Quick Cover case, that will work with the G5’s always on feature.
This is a similar method that LG has used in previous IFA and CES events, posting information about their new flagship before they actually release it.
And we know that the day they officially release it will be Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in just over a week.
This new touch-enabled Quick Cover case, will allow the user to take calls, check the time, date or notifications and control the alarm settings all without opening the case, or even turning the phone on.
To do this, the Quick Cover case has a “unique film” that has a glossy metallic finish.
We expect to hear more about it, and the LG G5 during LG’s MWC 2016 event.
