LG has this week officially confirmed that they will be unveiling the new LG G5 at Mobile World Congress.

This comes after LG teases the event via a “Play Begins” save the date invite, which featured a green music box that confirmed the event was scheduled for February 21st in Barcelona.

This week LG furthered this with images that where posted on its Twitter accounts, showing people gesturing as if they were holding the smartphone in front of a number “5”, which is conjoined with the #LGG5 and #MWC2016.

But since posting, the account has deleted this Tweets.

And if that wasn’t enough, LG’s Korean social site posted a GIF which specifically states that LG G5 Day is coming soon on February 21st.

According to rumours, the LG G5 will feature a 5.3 inch QHD display, with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

However, we don’t yet know any official stuff, but we should find that out at MWC later this month.
