LG has today confirmed that they will be announcing the long-rumoured LG G2 Mini at this year’s Mobile World Congress, posting a picture of the new handset on its Facebook page earlier today with the caption, “Experience the MINI. Mobile World Congress. 2014-02-24”.

There’s not much details on the LG G2 Mini yet, although from the image we can see that the device will feature the same rear-mounted volume controls as its big brother.

The rest of the image shows a mix of small pink things, like a shoe, starfish and a cupcake, each with their own pink colour highlight.

Rumours have suggested that the LG G2 Mini will include a 4.3 inch 960 x 540 pixel display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat.

However these specs are yet to be confirmed, we should hear more at MWC 2014.
