One of the more impressive features that was announced with LG’s G Flex was its ‘self-healing’ technology, but many were skeptical whether this kind of technology would actually work. Turns out it does, as the YouTuber Marques Brownlee tested the technology in a recent video the use of a knife.

Well not just a knife, he also took some real-world items to the phone too, scratching the back with things like keys, shortly after which the phone would actually heal itself, dissipating these scratches as if they were never there.

He then went on to test the technology further, subjected by a deep gash with a knife, the scratch took a few hours to heal, but it did to a respectable standard, not completely healing, but enough to be impressed by.
