LG has today updated its G Pad tablet range with the announcement of the new LG G Pad 7.0 tablet, that will join the G Pad 8.0 and the 10.1.

Inside there are similar specs to the latter of those tablets, with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution IPS display and a microSD card slot, however instead the tablet features a 7 inch screen, and comes with 8GB of in-built storage instead of the 16GB offering of the other two tablets.

The G Pad 7.0 also features a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3 front-facing megapixel camera, with a 4,000 mAh battery.

In comparison the other two G Pad tablets have a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and a 4200mAh battery in the 8.0 model, or a 8,000 mAh battery in the 10.1 model.

All of the tablets will be available in black, white, red, orange and blue. The LG G Pad 7.0 will be available in Europe this week, and the 8.0/ 10.1 models will be available in the coming weeks.

Pricing has yet to be announced for any of the items.
