After a number of leaks and rumours, LG has this week confirmed that they will indeed be releasing their new flagship handset, the LG G3 before the end of June.

The confirmation came during their quarterly financial results yesterday, where the LG G3 was named in the document released, stating that the handset was expected to improve device sales when it goes on sale in Q2, thus pointing towards a June release date.

Here’s the exact wording from the document: “Higher revenues are expected in the second quarter with the release of the flagship LG G3 smartphone.”

According to leaks, the LG G3 will come with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a massive 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, and 534ppi, alongside 3GB of RAM, 16GB/ 32GB of storage, an OIS+ camera, polycarbonate body and a microSD card slot.
