Shortly after announcing the release of their flagship smartphone dubbed the G2, LG announced a second handset called the LG Optimus L1 II, but left out some details of its release date.

However we now know that the smartphone will be reaching the UK, coming to the UK network Three, available in either black or exclusively in white and on their new “3-2-1” PAYG plan, as well as on various monthly tariffs.

Not a top-end model, the LG Optimus L1 II features a 3 inch touchscreen, 1GHz processor and running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Alongside this the handset also features a voice-activated camera trigger, FM Music recorder, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi.

You can find out more about the Optimus L1 II on Three’s website.
