More or less a carbon copy of Samsung’s S View cover, LG have today revealed a new case for the LG G2 called the QuickWindow, ahead of the smartphones unveiling.

Simply a flap that fits onto the G2, the case features a window on the front of the cover that will show information to the user without have to flip the flap. The window will show something LG are calling the QuickWindow UX at a swipe of the screen, and will show the clock, weather report, alarm, music player, incoming phone calls and text messages.

LG’s president and CEO off LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, Dr Jong-seck Park said the following about the case in their press statement:

“LG’s newest premium accessory delivers practical and stylish options while protecting the smartphone, which for many consumers is a significant investment.”

“Our smartphone designers have in mind the type of case they’d like to see on their designs. So it made a lot of sense for LG designers to share with our customers their vision of the perfect accessory.”

The QuickWindow case will be available from the LG G2 launch date (which is currently unknown) in black, white, pink, purple, blue, mint and yellow.
