Finally after about a month of rumors, LG have set the date for the Optimus G2 unveiling, sending out press invites to an event in New York on August 7th.
Teasing the event with the following message, “To me, you are perfect. Be among the first to experience the all-new LG G2. Come see how we’re learning from you,” the invite shows a hand touching an illuminated and transparent LG G2..
According to rumors, the LG G2 will feature a 5.2 inch screen, with a 1080p resolution, the front of the device is said to be made from plastic, with a front-facing camera and a set of three capacitive touch buttons.
Weirdly, rumors also suggest that the volume rocker will be situated on the back, alongside a 13 megapixel camera.
There’s also supposedly a Snapdragon 800 processor included.
For the official stuff however, you will have to wait until August 7th.
