LG has today revealed that they will be showing off some new smart sound systems at CES 2014 in January, including a new Wireless Audio System, a Sound Plate and a new sound bar.
The LG Wireless Audio System, will be dubbed the NP8740 it will allow users to stream audio around their home using the wireless speakers and mixed with dual-band Wi-Fi, allowing you to add in extra speakers for better surround sound. The system will also allow you to use something called Party Mode which allows you to have the same song played across the entire house, or different songs on different speakers using Personal Mode, and if you want you can also connect other audio systems to the speakers for even more sound.
The entire system is controlled using and app, and the system will stream in 24 bit/192KHz quality.
The LG Sound Plate/ LAB540QW is a 39.5mm slim sound bar, that has been designed to fit under TVs sized from 32-55 inch, as well as deliver 4.1 channel sound with 320 watts of power that is assisted by an external subwoofer.
Then last up is the LG Sound Bar, which comes in a polished dark silver finish and can deliver audio with 320 watts of power and 4.1 channel sound, as well as using Hi-Fi DAC technology with an Analog Class D amp with HD quality sound.
