MWC 2016 is soon to kick off, as the next major event in our timetable, it will be a week of mobile device announcements from a number of manufacturers.

One of those companies will be LG, who sent out their press invites this week for an event they are titling ‘Play Begins’.

The invite shows an image of a green music box, which  doesn’t leave too many hints about what they will be announcing. However, the invite does let us know that the event will kick off on February 21st in Barcelona.

We do know that LG is likely to be announcing its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G5, so this could be a hint to that.

Rumours suggest that the phone will feature a 5.3 inch QHD display, with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

However as of yet we don’t know if this will be the event that this smartphone will be announced at, and we don’t know the official specs for it.

We should learn the official stuff next week however, so you don’t have to wait too long.
