LG just released a new press release, which reveals (after a quick translation) the new LG Vu 3 smartphone, which has dropped the Optimus tag of its predecessor, but keeps the same 5.2 inch IPS display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 1280 x 960 pixel resolution (yes the picture above is what the phone looks like, we have not shrunk or changed it at all.)

Alongside the display, LG have also fitted a Snapdragon 800 processor, 13 megapixel camera on the back and have included a LTE radio.

The phone will also come with a stylus, and will compatible with LG’s new QuickView cases and will include a few new software features such as the guest mode and KnockON additions that were included in the G2.

As of yet, there’s no information on the LG Vu3’s pricing or availability.
