So far LG’s Optimus Vu has only been available in South Korea and Japan, where it was an exclusive, well it’s not exclusive anymore as they company will be releasing the phone in select countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America this September.

The weird part about the Optimus Vu is what to call it, much like the Galaxy Note it has a 5 inch display with a resolution of 768 x 1024, so it is either a big smartphone or it is a small tablet, with an aspect ratio of 4:3 the International version will also ship with Android 4.0 and support for 3G networks, the phone also has 32GBs of storage an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and another 1.3 megapixel camera on the front.

The US version however will use a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, instead of the international’s NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor.

There’s no indication on pricing or a launch date just yet, but we should hear from the carriers as soon as they make their announcements.
