Back in September 2013 LG launched the 55 inch Curved OLED TV in the UK, when it was priced at a massive £8,000, but now that has been updated with the launch of a new cheaper and updated model.

Now packing the model number EC930V, the new LG 55 inch Curved OLED TV will be sold at a number of different retailers across the UK including John Lewis, Richer Sounds and Currys for the much cheaper price of £2,999.

For that you get a TV with a new streamlined and sculptured stand alongside LG’s new Cinema Screen design.

All of this is designed with an ultra-slim bezel and with a minimal depth that increases as it makes its way to the centre of the screen, all of which comes in a brushed metal design.

On top of that LG states that the new TV has some cool technology too with LG’s WRGB OLED technology, with an ultimate picture quality and an infinite contrast ratio, which creates deep blacks and rich and bright colour according to the company.

To top that off the TV also offers a faster refresh rate than the standard LED TV with a blur free picture according to LG.
