AirPlay is great, but what happens when you don’t have access to a Wi-Fi network, the Libratone Zipp wireless speaker has the answer as it is the “first and only device”, that can use AirPlay technology to stream music from iOS devices without the need for a Wi-Fi network.

It does this by creating its own Wi-Fi hotspot which you can then use to pair with an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac or even PC, the Zipp also come with the option to plug directly into a plug socket, or use its in-built battery.

Alongside that, Libratone’s FullRoom technology has also been included, allowing the speaker to project a 360 degree sound, there’s also an app to go with it, that can be downloaded from the iTunes app store and used to alter the sound and bass levels remotely.

The Libratone Zipp will be available in a multitude of colors, grey and red for starters will be sold exclusively at Apple Stores and online from October for £329.99, but there are other options from John Lewis, Dixons Travel and online who are all offering the Classic Color Collection and Funky Color Collection, which all feature three interchangeable wool zip-on covers, ranging from black, blue, red, pink and yellow.

These multipacks will also be available from October,  but will set you back £369.99.
