Microsoft announced a new limited edition Tomb Raider controller for the Xbox 360 during CES 2013 yesterday, the controller be released primarily for the Xbox 360 and comes from a partnership with Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics.

The weird part is the design however which Crystal Dynamics say was inspired by Lara’s climbing axe and features a two-layer finish with laser etching to create a worn appearance.

The controller will also include a customisable D-pad and a wireless range of 10 metres, available exclusively from Game in the UK.

Those who do buy the controller will also get the exclusive Scavenger Archer playable character to download.

Tomb Raider will be available on the Xbox 360 from March 5th 2013, the controller will cost £39.99.
