It’s pretty much a daily occurrence that someone gets in a crash because they were looking at their smartphone and at times it can be hard to keep yourself away from that temptation. If you are one of those people, then you might be interested in Logitech’s latest unveiling, the Logi ZeroTouch.

ZeroTouch has been designed to allow you to control your phone, without having to look away from the road whilst driving. It does this via a smartphone app and a mount for that smartphone.

In terms of the mount, you will have two choices, either a vent mount, or a dashboard mount. Either way the mount will allow to quick and easily mount your smartphone in your car via a set of magnetic pads.

You simply stick these pads to the back of your phone, or slip them inside of a cover and you are ready to mount. After that, simply setup the companion app and get driving.

Once it is set up, ZerTouch will allow you to do things with your smartphone like sending messages, placing calls, sharing your location, playing music, and opening and navigating apps with gestures that are sensed through your phone’s light sensor.

The app is also able to read your emails in the future, however, that is not implemented yet. Also sadly, the app is only available for Android devices at the current time.

You can download the app on Android now and get started with it, however, you won’t be able to pick up the mount until early September 2016, when they will be sold by Carphone Warehouse at £49.99 for the vent mount and £59.99 for the dashboard mount.

You can find out more about it at the source link in the meantime.
