Today Logitech announced the launch of two brand new wireless mice, the Logitech MX Master 2S and the MX Anywhere 2.

As the names suggest, these new mice take over from the previous mice in their category, the Logitech MX Master and the MX Anywhere. In particular, they offer improved tracking via Logitech’s Darkfield High Precision tracking, which they say will boost mice cursor speed, accuracy, and the resolution to 4,000 DPI.

And that’s all on the go.

But for the MX Master 2S, there’s more that that.

It also comes with a ‘speed adaptive scroll wheel’ that is capable of auto shifting from click-to-click to hyper-fast scroll according to Logitech.

They say that this will allow you to scroll long documents and webpages easier.

It also comes with side-to-side scrolling with a thumb wheel. The MX Anywhere 2S is slightly different with a precision wheel that “lets you switch between click-to-click to hyper-fast scrolling” according to Logitech.

The functions of both mice can also be customised via the Logitech Options application.

The new mice are expected to be available in June at Logitech.com and select retail stores. The Logitech MX Master 2S are priced at $99.99, and the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S for $79.99 in the US. We don’t know other pricing or availability just yet.
