In the time between Apple announcing the removal of the MagSafe magnetic chargers from MacBooks and today we have seen a lot of third-party solutions that claim to bring MagSafe back.

Not many of those have been close to what Apple did with the original MagSafe connector, with ports that just don’t have the same feel to them or a design that doesn’t match the general quality of the MacBook.

A cable called MagC was launched on Kickstarter that hopes to revive MagSafe in a way that is both functional and stylish, combining MagSafe with USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 technologies in a sleek metal design that still uses your original USB-C charger, but adds a right-angle magnetic connector to it.

It’s a pretty interesting way to go about and it and we would definitely like to see if it works.
