With the iPhone 5 just launched it’s likely that you are already trying to go out you’re way to raise some funds to pick up the new phone when it launches on September 21st, but it’s probably not a great idea to drive you’re SUV through one of the glass plated windows on an Apple store just to get you’re hands on some Apple swag.

Well that’s what a couple of thieves did on Wednesday of last week in the Temecula Apple Store in the US, grabbing a couple of iPhones and iPads in the midst of the robbery.

Which if you have you’re days right, you might have figured out that Apple did in-fact launch the iPhone 5 and new iPods just a couple of days later, which actually makes these robbers a little stupid, but if that wasn’t enough to get a fail on their robbery test, they also left their licence plate behind, stuck to the store’s security gating which of course lead to cops to arrest the thieves swiftly.

So note to self kids, don’t try stealing from an Apple Store or any store for that matter, especially by using your own car to drive through said store.

Check out the failed robbery in the video below, and let us know what you think about these couple of idiots.
