If you thought that your current speaker system wasn’t quite heavy enough then you definitely might want to check out Master & Dynamic’s new MA770 wireless speaker, which features a housing that has been built with a moulded piece of concrete, yup concrete.

This means that the wireless speaker weighs a massive 35 pounds, so you definitely won’t be moving it around your house often.

But it does mean that you get a unique and stylish design that was built in partnership with the architect Sir David Adjaye.

M&D also say that concrete helps it to dampen vibrations much better than wood or plastic cabinets because the concrete can absorb more of the vibrations.

It also comes with a range of features, including two 4-inch kevlar woofers, a 1.5-inch titanium tweeter, and a 100 watt Class D amp.

There’s also Chromecast built right in, along with Bluetooth, and an AUX input.

MA770 is the first wireless speaker from M&D, and according to the company, it is the first Chromecast speaker that uses multiroom audio for stereo pairing.

On the front, there are controls for power, source input and volume, with the speakers protected by a metal grille that connects via magnets to make it easy to switch between.

All of this helps it to pump out mammoth sound from that massive weight.

The Master & Dynamic MA770 will be available for purchase from April 25th, but you can pre-order one today from the source link below for £1,600.
