Recently PayPal rolled out new ways for its customers to use their accounts to pay for items in shops on the go, the only problem is, up to now not many shops have started to use the mobile payments service.

But more recently PayPal has started to sign a deal with McDonald’s to bring the service to 30 of its restaurants in France, and according to a McDonald’s spokeswoman, the service will be hitting the French stores “within the next 24 months or so.”

This a huge step for McDonald’s and will hopefully lead the way for other businesses to take the technology on.
