So you may remember that a few weeks ago I posted an article about Coca-Cola’s plans to turn their packaging into a virtual reality headset, well it seems that they are not the only one with this plan, as McDonald’s have today also unveiled what could be the future of their Happy Meal boxes.

At the moment, the promotion is only available in Sweden, and the company is simply trailing the idea, however, if all goes well you might see the boxes in your local McDonald’s restaurant.

The company has called the boxes “Happy Goggles”, and plans to make 3,500 of these goggles available at 14 of its restaurants in Sweden, they will be available during the two weekends of March 5th and March 12th, however, you will have to pay around $4.10 for each box.

Thankfully you do get a si-themed VR game in return.
