Alongside the recent announcement of some new smartphones this week, today Meizu unveiled their new fitness tracker, the Meizu Band.

This new Meizu Band is pretty cool, it features an OLED display with a body that has an IP67 rating to allow it to be dust and water resistant, along with an inbuilt battery that is said to last for a total of 20 days according to the company.

That OLED display can be used to show you the time, as well as provide some smart features like notifying you when you receive a call or a text message.

On top of that, it can also do everything that you would normally expect from a fitness tracker.

It can count your steps and the amount of calories that you have burned, as well as how well you have slept, as well as the pace and intensity of an activity while you are completing a range of activities.

What makes it interesting is the price, which has been set at ¥229, which is about $33 or around £26.

However, Meizu has not revealed any information about a launch outside of China just yet.
