Microsoft has accidentally leaked the theme music for Halo 5: Guardians with a recent update to the now defunct beta for the game, along with shots of new multiplayer menus for Warzone and the new 12 -on-12 mode.

This is despite the fact that the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta actually concluded months ago, but during that time players who still had the beta were able to upgrade the beta and even get a look at a bit of Kazuma Jinnouchi’s original soundtrack for the game.

Microsoft has also confirmed the leak officially, with a spokesperson saying:

“It’s unfortunate when work-in-progress content leaks, but this Halo 5: Guardians content is part of our ongoing private, external testing for multiplayer. We will continue to rigorously test Halo 5: Guardians to ensure the best possible experience for fans at launch.”

Check out the video below for a look at the leaked content, we also included a gallery with some screenshots of the leaked menus.

Halo 5: Guardians is set to launch on October 27th exclusively for the Xbox One.
