Microsoft has just, as expected announced the preview of the next installment to Office, Office 2013 that you can try out today, the Technical Preview will include te usual Access, Excel, Infopath, Lync, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word.

The biggest difference in the new version, is the new way of buying it which will now be available in both a boxed copy and online copy with an Office 365, which will give users access to all Office core apps for all the platforms which include Home, Small Business, ProPlus and Enterprise, allowing you to pay once and download the Windows, Mac or iPhone OneNote.

One of the biggest changes however is Office on demand which will stream your work over the internet letting sync documents over various devices, and carry it on a different device like an iPhone for instance whilst on the move, this will also sync these documents onto SkyDrive, Microsoft’s online document service.

Of course the new Office 2013 will also be available in both Metro and desktop applications, which will take advantages to the new touchscreen capabilities that comes with Windows 8 and easily navigate between pages and notebooks, as well as using a pen or finger to type or edit text.

There are a lot more other features which we will feature in a future post, Office 2013 currently has now pricing or release date structure but you can expect it sometime in early 2013.
